Sarah and Randy's Fun Fall Wedding at Divieste's in Warren, Ohio
September might have been the most insane month in my business to date. Five weekends shooting four weddings and attending one wedding as a guest - of which three weddings were out of town. But I knew I was going to wrap up my September weddings with a very chill and very fun one. After all, it was Sarah and Randy's wedding. Anyone who knows them clearly knows how fun they are and how they like to have a good time. The whole wedding day was a party!
We started the day at Boardman Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio, where the girls arrived in matching monogram shirts. Sarah had very simple and elegant details, and even brought an adorable dish for me to photograph the jewelry in! Ya'll know that's the way to my heart (that, and puppies). I'd be lying if I said I wasn't obsessed with Sarah and Randy's wedding colors. Purple is my favorite color, so seeing their eggplant colored dresses had me all kinds of excited. And then I saw the bouquets. Dick Adgate florists knocked it out of the park with their cool toned bouquets, filled with shades of purple, white and soft greenery. Sarah also had a giant succulent as a focal point in her bouquet! They looked so beautiful against the purple dresses and definitely gave off the Fall vibes.
The guys were taking it easy in a separate area of the church, where Randy was getting their little son all dapper in his tux. One thing Sarah and Randy told me the first time I met them was that they wanted their son involved in the process as much as possible, so years down the line when he sees these wedding pictures, he'll know just how much he is loved and how much they cherish their little family. They included him in the engagement session, and there were so many special moments throughout the day that were just precious. From the ceremony prep and little Randall joining his parents on their walk out of the church as husband and wife to the quiet cuddly moments outside and dancing at the reception - their little baby boy was a part of it all.
After the "I do's", we had plenty of time to explore the Rose Gardens in Mill Creek Park for Bridal Party portraits. Even though the gardens were PACKED that day with homecoming kids and their families, I had an extremely fun Bridal Party of 22 that had me laughing and smiling the whole time we were shooting. I'm pretty sure there was a dance party every two minutes, and that's not including the ones I intentionally started :P
We wrapped up the evening at Divieste's in Warren, Ohio for the reception, where there were tons of happy tears, laughs, love and great dance moves. I can only imagine the craziness that happened after I left that night! But I hope you guys had the time of your lives, Sarah and Randy! <3
