Liz + Ben | Intimate Winter Wedding | Buhl Mansion | Sharon, PA

2.22.22 was a pretty magical day for more than one reason. Obviously it was a once in a lifetime date for all of us, but it was also incredible because it was the day that Ben and Liz got married! Let me tell you, that was a wedding day that I, and I think all of us, were waiting forever for. Some of you may not know, but they’ve been my neighbors for many years. I’ve seen their family grow, taken milestone family photos for them and witnessed an ongoing love that, quite frankly, deserved a big day of celebration. This was that day!

The weather was rainy and misty, but that really didn’t matter much. It didn’t take away from how emotional and joyful the entire day was, which are my favorite kind of wedding days! It also gave us an opportunity to use an adorable bubble umbrella, which I 10/10 recommend to any couple planning a wedding with rain in the forecast.

We spent the entire day at Buhl Mansion in Sharon, PA. I’m always blown away by incredible architecture and attention to detail, and this place truly has it all. Because it’s such a grand venue, the wedding didn’t need to be overwhelming with tons of details. Liz and Ben added the perfect amount of personalization to the space and I can appreciate that! All of the details and decor they chose had very specific meaning to them, like their matching wedding bands for example. Engraved on each of their wedding bands is their daughter’s heartbeats from when Liz was pregnant. Another personal touch I loved was the groomsman gifts, which were pocket watches with each of their names engraved.

I think my favorite personalization of the day was the fact that these two had a small group of their closest friends and family to celebrate with them. Intimate weddings are seriously some of my favorites because it allows the couple to really connect with everyone present.

All this to say that I am so truly happy this day existed and that I was able to be a witness and document every bit of the magic. Congratulations Liz and Ben!!! <3
