An Intimate, Rustic Fall Dinner Under the Trees in Youngstown, Ohio
Now that it's FINALLY starting to look like Fall here in Youngstown, Ohio with cooler weather and bright trees, I wanted to share a perfect Fall dinner party! A few weeks ago, I worked with the team at Joe Mineo Creative and photographed Joe's absolutely beautiful design. I was in all my glory because there were just so many gorgeous details and guys, details are my fave!
To set the stage, we were nestled in a quiet area in Boardman, surrounded by trees and the fallen foliage. With a small group of 20 guests and an intimate feel, three wooden farm tables were put together to create one long table with complimenting mismatched chairs. The tablescape was filled with large, fresh floral arrangements that broke down the table into a few smaller, more intimate groupings of people. At the head of the table was a cascading floral garland that framed a small basket filled with cozy throw blankets - the perfect touch for a Fall dinner party.
Jeff Chrystal of Jeff Chrystal's Catering created a menu with local produce and fresh caught fish from Lake Erie. The food was accompanied by some great wine, but also a signature drink - a Fiery Mule. This included Fireball, Crabbie's Ginger Beer and fresh squeezed orange juice with a fresh orange slice and cinnamon stick as a garnish.
The turkeys even wanted to join. I don't blame them :P
