Megan & Angie’s Hometown Summer Engagement Session in Warren, Ohio
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just waiting for Megan and Angie’s wedding day to come. I’ve known Megan for what seems like forever - we’re practically family. To know she’s found someone as great as Angie to share her life with makes me so beyond happy. Seeing how they interacted during their engagement session was everything - their personalities mesh so well together and I think you can see from the pictures just how in love they are and how comfortable they are with each other.
We shot their engagement session in downtown Warren, Ohio. We, of course, had to have their pup, Lou, in some of the pictures. He has such unique markings and is incredibly goofy and ridiculous. How can you not adore him?! He also wore a Mickey Mouse collar, which was absolutely perfect because Megan and Angie love Disney! Megan actually proposed at Magic Kingdom during one of Angie’s favorite shows. Needless to say, she was completely surprised and it was beyond perfect! Megan’s family was there on vacation with them, so they live-streamed the proposal to Angie’s family back home so everyone was a part of that special moment!
We wrapped up their engagement session with them in their Disney shirts, underneath the twinkle lights of Dave Grohl Alley. Yes, it was magical. And next week? We’ll be celebrating their wedding day at The Hippodrome! The vibe will be laid back with navy, grey and quartz colors to accent the decor. Of course there will be some Mickey Mouse details as part of the decor, which seems so fitting! I can’t wait!! <3
