I’ll tell you right now, if I hang out with Christine and Ed one year from now and we do this all again, I would be the happiest girl ever. This is how much I adore these two and their group of favorite people! Last year, on June 13th, Christine and Ed got married with a very small group of family and friends (check out that blog here). Read MoreI don’t typically book last minute weddings the week before the event, but something drew me to Carla, Charles and their intimate courthouse wedding. I am so glad I had the morning open and was able to spend it with the two of them! They’re so sweet and very easy to chat with, not to mention suuuuuuuper easy to photograph. I low key think they lied and are actually models disguised as a chef and engineer. Just look at them! They’re pure magic and I’m one million percent here for it….

But I will admit, the trend of micro weddings that this pandemic has thrust upon 2020 couples is actually a blessing in disguise! They’re intimate with very minimal bells and whistles, which helps everyone focus on the couple and their love rather than material things. To me, that’s what weddings are all about anyway, so it’s nice to be in the realm of smaller weddings. Jillian and Josh contacted me a few months ago and threw this intimate day together rather quickly (props, my friends!). It was such a lovely day with beautiful weather, tons of scenic views to take in at Running Horse Farm in Geneva, Ohio, and a naturally gorgeous ceremony and reception space that truly called for the “less is more” approach.
