Tim and Margarita's Castle Engagement Session at Squire's Castle in Willoughby, Ohio
Isn’t it great when you meet someone and just mesh well together? That’s how I felt the first time I met Margarita and Tim. I could literally talk with them for hours - they’re totally my kind of people! I instantly clicked with them and knew their wedding was going to be a fun one! I mean, they told me about their pet pig, MooShu, and I knew from that very second that I liked them :P The best part is, they wanted Moosh in their engagement pictures! Being the animal lover that I am, I was STOKED to play with her and get her in some pictures.
When I arrived at their house, I was greeted by Tim and Moosh in the backyard, where Moosh was eating her dinner on the patio. Margs warned me that Moosh is a diva, but I totally didn’t mind bribing her with carrots, watermelon or any other special treat we had available. Their neighbor, “Uncle Jack”, came over with some watermelon for Moosh to snack on and I got to work as a pig wrangler/photographer. Fun fact, Moosh even knows how to sit! It was actually like working with a dog, but much slower in speed and possibly a little smarter ;] Another fun fact, their first date was at a Cleveland Indians game AND Tim proposed to Margarita at an Indians game. So the Indian’s shirts were certainly appropriate attire for this session :]
After we got a few shots and Moosh had enough, we headed off Squire’s Castle in Willoughby, Ohio. It seriously couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening for pictures! By adding a castle as the backdrop, I was in my photographer work life fairy tale! The light was gorgeous, the setting was gorgeous, the couple was gorgeous. Yep, it was a dream :P We enjoyed exploring and chatting and wandering in the woods. I’m especially looking forward to all of the laughs and good times at their wedding in September at the Onesto in Canton, Ohio! It’s going to be classic and elegant, yet fun with a Stella Artois theme since it’s Tim’s favorite beer. Of course, the colors will be red, gold, ivory with touches of green. I know it’ll be beautiful and quite the party - I can’t wait!
