When trying to nail down the location for Julia and George’s engagement session, I got excited when Julia mentioned the Poland Forest because she wanted a woodsy feel. Kirsten and Noll's Elegant Summer Country Club Wedding at The Lake Club in Youngstown, Ohio

One thing I really love about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with so many talented artists. From beautiful decor to colorful florals, I’ve been so inspired this wedding season! Going into Kirsten and Noll’s wedding, I knew I’d be in detail heaven! They have such a unique style and I knew all of that would be elevated on their wedding day. Kirsten’s dress was unlike any I’ve seen! It was seemingly a simple lace but filled with intricate detailing that really stood out the second she put the dress on. To accent, she had tons of beautiful jewelry that had just enough bling. Did I mention her engagement ring? Because it was custom made from the diamond that belonged to her mom from the engagement ring her dad proposed with! To see everything come together was so exciting!…

Michael and Christina's Summer Baseball Themed Wedding at Holy Family Parish in Poland, Ohio and Drake's Landing in Youngstown, Ohio

The absolute best part about my job is that I get to connect with people. Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to meet so many people that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Christina and Michael were living in Atlanta when we first met via Skype. He’s from Iowa and Christina is from here, and they now live in Massachusetts.
