Amanda + Jimmy | Summer Engagement Session | Canfield, Ohio
To say that we had the most beautiful evening for Amanda and Jimmy’s engagement session is an understatement I think. From the second I pulled in the driveway of Jim’s sister’s home, where we shot the session, I was in heaven. Legit died, went to heaven, resurrected and went to heaven again. I was greeted by a big, beautiful and very curious horse, and knew that this session was going to be pure magic. Ohhh, and it was. It certainly was. Not only were we on a gorgeous, picturesque farm, but these two lovely people were my models. They said they were awkward in front of the camera but ummm, are they really? When you scroll to see the photos, I think you’ll agree with me that they are anything but awkward!
Getting to know Amanda and Jimmy better during their session was my favorite part of the evening. I love how the differences in their personalities completely balance each other out. We jumped right in to picture taking and conversation, but I could tell that Jimmy’s lighthearted nature and silly jokes put Amanda at ease as the evening went on.
Now, I’m a full believer in circumstances aligning at the most perfect moment to bring two people together. These two are proof of that. Jimmy just so happened to be in town the weekend they met (virtually) and the rest was history! I’m really looking forward to their winter wedding this December at the Salem Golf Club in Salem, Ohio. It’s going to be classy and romantic, no doubt. Plus, Amanda wants that Christmas magic sprinkled into the day, and I’m absolutely here for it! Bring on the Christmas lights! I’m ready!
