Caylee + Jarrett | Engagement | Downtown Youngstown, Ohio
My journey with Caylee and Jarrett began in a hair salon. Caylee was sitting across the room from me, getting her hair done and talking about being newly engaged. Insert me looking like a complete crazy person with red and orange hair color all over my head (and probably my face if we’re being honest) and my hair stylist, Bianca (Roots Salon and Wellness Spa), hyping me up to Caylee. Now she could’ve ran for the hills but instead I got an email from her a couple of weeks later and we vibed instantly! Meeting her and Jarrett, having conversation and just hanging with them is easy. I knew photographing them would be fun!
It may have been cold, but their engagement session was everything I hoped it would be and more. We started our afternoon wandering around downtown Youngstown, OH and wrapped up our shoot in Mill Creek Park. There’s nothing I love more than seeing my couples just be comfortable with each other, trust the process, let go of the overthinking and just be in the moment. These two were down for any crazy thing I asked, and without hesitation. So we frolicked in some mud while Caylee wore stellar white boots and neither of us have regrets about it :P
I’m suuuuper pumped for their Fall wedding next November at Irons Mill Farmstead in New Wilmington, PA. I’ve gotten little peeks here and there of what Caylee is planning and I’m 1. incredibly excited about the color palette and 2. even more excited to see her vision come together! It’s going to be a beautiful day!
