But just look at Jared and Julie! They are far from awkward! They were absolutely wonderful models and went along with all of my crazy ideas. They even threw in a few ideas of their own, which I absolutely love! We had the most beautiful golden light for their session and the Rose Gardens was really putting on a show with all of the beautiful blooms. I fall in love with Lake Erie every time I'm there. There are a few particular lakes around here that hold such great memories for me and Lake Erie is one of them. Getting to photograph there combines so many great things for me, so I was over the moon excited when Chelsea mentioned Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor, Ohio. No, I'd never been there before but I absolutely love a good adventure with my couples! It may be chilly out now with the holidays around the corner, but I'm currently reminiscing over warm, summer sessions :] A portrait session I was excited this summer is this senior session with one of my past bride's brothers. Any time I get to see one of my past brides and their sweet mamas, I get so happy. But getting to know John a little bit better was definitely fun, too! Him, his sister and I spent the evening exploring the campus of Youngstown State University, my old stomping ground....
