The online world can be crazy and sometimes seems impersonal, but it also allows an opportunity to connect with people we may not have otherwise. Even more-so exciting is when you see someone online and already know you're meant to connect. From the first email Kaitlin sent me, I knew we'd be a good fit for each other. I mean, I get emails all the time that describe weddings but this one really hooked me in. Kaitlin and Brad are a very non-traditional couple and it's super refreshing. We live in a world where trends come and go frequently and I see the same things over and over again in the wedding industry.  Don't get me wrong, I see SUCH beauty in traditions and can definitely appreciate them for their sentimental meanings. Ya'll know I'm a sucker for the personal experience! I just find myself, personally, leaning towards the non-traditional side of the spectrum and these two are completely tailoring their wedding to who they are as a couple....

How to Choose Images for your Wedding Album

Sorting through hundreds of images from your wedding day to narrow down what will go in your album can be a daunting task. I know because I’ve been there! I had TONS of beautiful images that I was obsessed with from my wedding day. Some showed off the details of my wedding day and every time I look at those photos, I see a piece of myself with the vintage camera centerpieces, my mother with the handmade pieces of decor, my grandmothers with the lace doilies, vintage milk vases and old books, our dogs with the hanging photos and our cake topper and our lives scattered in every aspect of our wedding day.
