Marissa and Anthony's Intimate Micro-Wedding | Peter Allen Inn | Kinsman, Ohio
I feel like I’m saying this a lot lately, but I’m just so thankful for my job because it has reunited me with people I haven’t seen in many, many years. Like Marissa! We both studied art at Youngstown State University, where we met during our internship. We’ve kept in touch throughout the years thanks to social media, but I really don’t think I had seen her since graduating, which was over ten years ago (yikes!). So when Marissa and Anthony got engaged, I was so over the moon happy for them. And when Marissa asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was really really over the moon happy!
I knew from the get-go that these two didn’t want an over-the-top wedding. They both like to keep things simple, yet meaningful, so I knew their intimate wedding was going to be perfect for them. They had the basics - like a wedding gown, tux, bouquet, minimal decor - and that was all they needed. No large bridal party. No guest list in the hundreds. Just the basics. What was important to them was who they were surrounded by on their wedding day, and that’s where the focus was. Each important person in their lives played a special role in making their wedding day special. Marissa and Anthony had a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Fatima in Farrell, PA, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour/dinner at the Peter Allen Inn in Kinsman, Ohio. The weather was the most perfect Fall day you can imagine - warmth, sunshine, orange and red trees and a gorgeous golden sunset. I couldn’t have asked for anything more for these two wonderful people! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe!
