It feels like we waited an eternity to take these engagement photos! I swear we had at least three dates planned, but Covid-19 put a damper on us being able to shoot safely. But let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The greenery was lush and beautiful, the weather was nearly perfect and the golden light towards dusk was a photographer’s dream. Jason and Shafica both can attest to how much I squealed and screamed and jumped up and down out of excitement. It was such a fun evening! We started at Squire’s Castle in Willoughby, Ohio and ended in Chagrin Falls at the shops on Main Street. Those are two of my favorite places to shoot, or honestly just be at, because it’s just so beautiful….

Danielle is one of those people for me. We met what seems like a million years ago and when I found out she was getting married, my heart was seriously exploding with happiness for her. Then when I found out she wanted ME to be her photographer, I felt so incredibly honored. I just couldn’t wait to meet Craig and get their engagement session going!…

It’s true that I shortened my name to Mae partially in hopes that people would spell it correctly. No one could ever spell my name right for as long as I can remember. When I met Meaghan, I thought to myself, FINALLY! Someone who knows how I feel! Needless to say, I liked her right away because of that, but then got to know her and Jon at their engagement session and seriously felt like I was hanging out with old friends. They’re dog lovers like me and brought along their sweet basset hound puppy, Nellie. I was in complete heaven! They also took me to a location in Mill Creek Park near Lake Newport in Youngstown, Ohio that I’ve never before, and I’m completely over the moon in love with this area….
