I always feel so honored when my friends ask me to photograph their wedding day. I feel even more honored when it’s someone I’ve been friends with for 10 plus years like Danielle. Before wedding planning with her, I don’t even remember the last time we had seen each other. Being able to reconnect with her for one of the biggest days of her life seriously makes me ten times more grateful for my career path!…
Read MoreOkay okay okay, I’ll just say it. Covid has really made 2020 a year of surprises, mostly bad ones. But I will admit, the trend of micro weddings that this pandemic has thrust upon 2020 couples is actually a blessing in disguise! They’re intimate with very minimal bells and whistles, which helps everyone focus on the couple and their love rather than material things. To me, that’s what weddings are all about anyway, so it’s nice to be in the realm of smaller weddings. Jillian and Josh contacted me a few months ago and threw this intimate day together rather quickly (props, my friends!). For that, I’m forever thankful, not just today but every single day.…

I experienced the highest of highs and fulfilled some career goals that I am so thankful for. I felt the pressure of being a seasonal wedding photographer in Ohio, with an overflowing work schedule and never ending to do list. I learned from my shortcomings and truly value those experiences, even though it felt at times like I’d never see the light at the end of the tunnel….
